Zebra Nerite Snail

Zebra Nerite Snails are a beautiful tank cleaner.  Want to be able to enjoy the tank you've curated without having to scrape off the algae first?  You need a Nerite snail.  Natively found in African rivers and estuaries, these snails adapt easily to freshwater conditions, but won't over reproduce due to needing brackish water for reproducing. Zebra Nerites are a beautiful brown and black striped snail that will add beauty to your tank and work at keeping the tank clean for you to enjoy it.

SIZE:

• Average adult size: 1 - 1.5 inch (2.5 - 3.8 cm)
• Typical purchase size: 0.5 - 1 inch (1.2 - 2.5 cm)

RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: 

• Temperature: 65° to 85° F (18 - 29 C)
• pH: 6.5 - 8.5
• KH: 12 - 18 dKH
• Minimum tank size: 2 Gallons
