Thorny Sunshine Nerite Snail

Thorny Sunshine Nerite Snails are a striking addition to any tank.  With their horned shells and striped designs, they are a distinguished tank cleaner who happily eats algae off the sides of your tank. Naturally found in the freshwater and brackish water of Southeast Asia which keeps this snail from overpopulating your tank.

• Average adult size: 0.5 - 1 inch (1.2 - 2.5 cm)
• Typical purchase size: 0.25 - 0.5 inch (0.64 - 1.2 cm)

RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: 

• Temperature: 65° to 85° F (18 - 29 C)
• pH: 6.5 - 8.5
• KH: 5 - 12 dKH
• Minimum tank size: 2 Gallons
